EFPSA, the European Federation of Psychology Students´ Association, is a 22 year old and highly attractive association to almost every Psychology student who has the opportunity to be introduced to it! It was originally established in 1987 during the first International Congress of Psychology Students which took place in Portugal. EFPSA now consists of 25 Psychology Students’ Organizations of 25 European countries.
With increasing number of members, EFPSA attracts more and more students every year and so far represents approximately 250‘000 psychology students across Europe.
EFPSA is a multicultural and colorful network of European psychology students’ associations, run on a voluntary basis by and for European psychology students. Its mission is to represent the needs and interests of the European psy chology students, to promote the scientific cooperation and cultural exchange between them and enhance their mobility. The services and activities realized by EFPSA therefore include exchanges, summer schools and providing information on studying abroad.
Highlight of the EFPSA year is the annual congress – the opportunity for psychology students from all over Europe to exchange ideas and to cooperate on a scientific, cultural and personal level. The idea of European diversity and networking – in combination with plen ty of unforgettable memories – is subsequently spread at all of the participants’ home universities.
What EFPSA means to us
|
It is a unique way to enrich your student life and broaden the horizons, beyond imaginable and encounter a series of opportunities. Indeed, it makes you feel that a world or at least Europe is a small place with lots of friends. Anja (Slovenia) EFPSA helped me realize things about myself, my limits and how nice it feels to go over them and expand as a human being. Anna (Germany) It has given me the chance to point a country and a town on the map and to be almost sure, that I will find a friend there to visit. Tiina (Estonia) |
|
EFPSA is full of enthusiastic people thinking like me, reacting like me and applying knowledge like me. Since we are all psychology students, I feel that we have this common language which helps us understand each other better. Basak (Turkey) |

The EFPSA spirit is hard to describe in words - You are invited to become part of this experience! |
